Supporting USC Ellison’s mission, the lighting design helps create a transformative healing environment for this 84,000 sf state-of-the-art cancer research facility. The architectural fixtures deliver requisite light levels for the labs and seamlessly incorporate into the building design, providing ambient light and highlighting the earthen tones and materiality. The decorative fixtures in social areas create a warm, welcoming space for collaboration. In the clinics, minimalistic tunable white fixtures mimicking the color temperature of the light-filled lobbies create a spa-like comfortable healing space.
