Orum Rd Residence, Bel Air, CA
This “propeller” residence is a luxurious contemporary design with a shape meant to capitalize on the many sweeping views of the city. The exterior lighting scheme highlights and illustrates the building forms while illuminating social gathering areas such as the pool and deck. Inside, the lighting scheme follows the curved forms of the building with LED downlights and slim linear luminaires that allow flexibility for a variety of art and furniture arrangements. The heart of the home is a grand three-story staircase that serves as a bridge between private and social spaces.
