AKA Beverly Hills Grand Opening
Congratulations to our friends over at AKA on their grand opening last night! This video shows Larry Korman, the CEO of Korman Communities, thanking the entire design team: AKA Beverly Hills Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
This time last year we were just beginning to help them transform an existing apartment building into a luxury extend-stay hotel. Below is a scan of the before and after brochure they created to show the dramatic transformation.
It was a little hectic getting lighting set for the big event but everyone came through in the last minute. A client held one leg and the contractor the other so I could reach over the edge to aim gobo projectors on the green wall. The risk was worth it though because they look great and everyone loved the effect!
