Pasadena's New Family Friendly Restaurant
Located in Old Pasadena, Agnes Restaurant & Cheesery opened their doors last week for the grand opening! Named after the executive’s chef’s own grandmother, the restaurant was inspired by and envisioned as a warm, family-style gathering place. It’s clear the chef partners and owners truly care about how their restaurant looks and feels, and Oculus played a big part in making sure all of the details were just right!
The unique, bright open kitchen nearly runs the entire length of the building, facing the warmly highlighted brick wall and wood beam ceiling. In the “backyard”, an unexpected 1200sf of lavish, shaded patio awaits those who prefer to dine al fresco. Trackhead lights are evenly distributed and carefully aimed throughout the dining area, adding to the homey feel. Individual globe pendants hang between a custom decorative wooden structure above the cheesery counter, while large dome pendants anchor a communal table in the private dining room.
We look forward to bringing the Oculus team out for a bite at this up-and-coming destination. Thanks to ORA for their continued efforts on this project! For more information and photos on Agnes, check out this Eater LA article!
