To help Murad promote the idea of a healthy office, the lighting of their new corporate headquarters in El Segundo, California mixes softer hospitality lighting elements with the required office lighting. Based on a cellular concept, the 41,500 square foot space features a central meeting and Spa area surrounded by a walking track with meeting nodes that offer various fitness machines. Bright energetic lighting accentuates the colorful furniture finishes based on the color-coded branding of the company’s skincare products. Decorative lighting at the meeting/fitness nodes provides a visual break with softer lighting. Murad’s belief in social responsibility was carried through the use of energy efficient lighting throughout.
