Officine Brera, Los Angeles, CA

For the creators behind the successful Factory Kitchen, Officine Brera is the real life creation of what they imagined their original restaurant would be. The Northern Italian restaurant is located in a renovated factory warehouse which is a detail that was fully embraced even down to the name which partially translates to “factory”. Fire-fueled open ovens and rotisseries within a sprawling kitchen that serves as the heart of the space and brings an industrial, rustic sophistication that is reflected in the design. Warm colors highlight wooden features, and unique fixtures invite the eye while still acknowledging that the kitchen is king. Outside, a patio glows and pulls patrons to step away from the fires in order to experience the open air in a unique part of downtown Los Angeles.
